Complete inventory changes by CSV, includes activities in bulk for Moves and Counts. Also Rename Bins and Locations. All traced with annotating changes in bin history tables and views.
For example: Recount product in bulk (inventory count) or move product from one area to another (move the inventory to another bin).
A separate area is BIN. In BIN you can kill bin (delete a bin you no longer need) and rename bin (change the Bin name).
We have 4 independent areas in Shipedge, and each of these areas has a complete workflow.
All these processes take time and we wanted to reduce the time for our customers. With the complete update, you can do all these four things without entering each area in Shipedge. You can use a csv file (a csv is like an excel file) and place all the information needed, upload it and finish the process in one click.
- Using the WMS account, hover with the mouse over inventory and in the drop-down menu select Products.
- In the Products page look for Bin Management link and click on it
3. Filter the necessary data for your query. (Content, Sku, Account…)
4. Click on Export to csv. The new file will be created and downloaded to your computer.
5. The CSV file is divided in 3 parts:
5.1 Reference Data.
Data marked in figure 5.1.1 will work as a reference for the user. Figure 5.1.2 shows the system requirements to help the program with data processing. The optional data shows information useful to the client.
5.2 Modify Data
Here the user has different options to complete several processes, like: kill bin, move, recount o all at the same time, Figure 5.2.1 shows 11 options, these options are detailed in figure 5.2.3
Please note that you can create new BINs using the CSV file but you can’t create new locations, you need to use available locations.
6. Import CSV
Select the recently modified file
After processing the csv file the system will show the following message with one or two downloadable files.
Success file has a column at the end called “Message ” where you will see the process result for each row
Error file has a column at the end called “Error” where you will see all the errors when processing the row.
The file with errors can be modified and processed again following the previous steps.
