What are Processing Filters?
Our shipping view has filters to help you group orders together and process them in batches / waves. You can group them by many different parameters and even layer multiple parameters for more granular filtering.
Example – Create a filter for all one line item orders under 5 LBS that will ship via USPS.

The best part about processing filters in the shipping view is that you can save and reuse them. Select the Advanced Filters link to launch the configuration window and save when you are done.
Icon Based Filters
There are clickable visual filters in the form of icons below your processing filters that will let you sort your orders by several different statuses and groupings.
Hold – order(s) in a hold status mean that they are being held till a certain date or indefinitely (awaiting manual update)
Checked – order(s) in a checked status mean that someone has verified the shipping info and then hit Save & Confirm button
Serials – order(s) in the serials grouping mean need someone to enter in serial numbers for tracking outbound
Error – order(s) in an error status mean that a shipping related error has occurred (usually due to missing information or incorrect configuration) and an error code / reason will be shown in the fly-out window when you click the order
Ready to Print – the Ready to Print status will contain orders whose labels have been generated and are ready to print
Getting Label – the Getting Label status will contain orders whose labels, tracking numbers , etc.. are still generating (will automatically change to Ready to Print when finished)
Additional Filters & Search
There are additional filters and search boxes listed under the Icons and Batches and right above your orders. You can use any of the drop downs, search boxes, and calendar to filter orders.
Up & Down Arrows – the up and down arrows next to each of the filters / search boxes will sort by ascending or descending numerically and alphabetically depending on whether up or down are clicked.
Tips & Tricks
One of the most powerful ways to use this feature is to build out a workflow for your entire fulfillment process by configuring and saving filters.
Our filters are organized numerically and alphabetically. Which means that adding a number to the beginning of a filter name will place it in a certain order.
Hopefully after configuring some filters you have built out a strategy to tackle the fulfillment process in batches / waves from the start of the day to the end of your day.
Example – 1. All One Item Orders in Area A, 2. One Line Item Orders , 3. All Orders Under 5LBS, Etc..
