How to Upload a Replenishment with Lot Number, Expiration Date, and Units of Measure as an OMS

The following are instructions for an OMS user to upload a replenishment with Lot Numbers, Expiration Dates, and Units of Measure. If you need to upload a replenishment without Lot Number, Expiration, or UOM, then it may be easier to follow our guide here.

1. Add a Replenishment

Start by navigating to the Replenishment tab, and then selecting “Add Replenishment”.

2. Fill Out Form

Fill out the replenishment form with the Supplier Name, Purchase Order Number, Tracking Number, Comments, and Delivery Date. If you check the check box then the quantity you are going to submit in this replenishment will automatically be added to the inventory in the warehouse. In this case, you do not want to check this box because you want to make sure that the SKUs you are sending arrive in good condition without any issues. Finally, click the “Add” button.

3. Download Template

You will automatically be directed to this page. Next, click on “Upload SKUs” and download the Replenishments Template. If you already have the template downloaded, then you do not need to re-download it.

4. Open and Edit the Template

You can use Excel or Numbers to open the template, but we recommend Open Office. The reason we recommend Open Office is because it will allow you to separate by tab, semi-colon, and comma. Regardless of what software you use to open the template, this is the view that you want. Fill out the columns with SKU, Quantity of the replenishment, Lot Number, Expiration Date, and Units of Measure. Your warehouse will have different cases available to you, but in this case we see that there are cases of 12, 10, and 5.

If you are using Lot Number, Expiration Date, and UOM, then make sure to fill out each column. As you can see, the third SKU, 4120, does not have lot or expiration. This is no problem, but make sure to fill out the SKU, Quantity, or UOM (whichever you need).

5. Upload the File

6. Check the Replenishment

7. You Are Done
